Why Southern Costa Blanca?
Spain is the sunniest Country in Europe and the climate on the Costa Blanca has been described by the World Health Organisation as amongst the healthiest in the World.

The Costa Calidà and Murcia Regions are privileged areas on the Spanish Mediterranean coastline incorporating the famous Mar Menor, Europe‚s largest Salt Water Lake which is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Here you can enjoy healthy mud baths, radiant sunshine, and a multitude of water sports of the many Blue Flag beaches.

The fresh fish, fruit and vegetables which is caught and grown locally adds to the healthy lifestyle offered in this Region of Spain. Inland there are numerous charming Spanish towns where you can visit the weekly markets, relax in the squares and sample some of the superb local cuisine.

BLUE FLAG BEACHES

This Region of Spain has Europe’s greatest concentration of European Clean Water Blue Flag Beaches. This prestigious award is only given to those beaches that meet the highest standard of cleanliness.

Spain continues to prove to be the most desired country for property investment, with many people drawn to the Costas

INFRASTRUCTURE

Whether by land, sea, rail or air, Spain’s Southern Costa Blanca has a thoroughly modern infrastructure. At present there are two International Airports, namely Murcia Airport at San Javier, and Alicante’s El Altet which currently brings in over 9 million passengers to Spain each year. The arrival of budget airlines offering cheap Scheduled and Charter flights has been a major contributing factor to the ever increasing number of visitors. The success of these airlines operating frequent services in and out of Spain has created an additional demand for short Golfing Holidays and Weekend Breaks at affordable prices.

Spain is currently undergoing a huge investment programme in its infrastructure with plans to build a new terminal at El Altet (Alicante Airport), which will provide a capacity of over 22 Million. A brand new Airport at Corvera, close to the City of Murcia is also expected to be completed in 2010.

When the new high-speed train link (AVE) comes into full operational service in 2010, it is anticipated that it will bring in a further 9 million visitors to the Region.
