Types
of Investment :-
Buy-to-Let refers to properties that are purchased primarily
for the purpose of generating a Net Rental Revenue.
Off-Plan is the purchase of a property in the early stages
of a Development, prior to any building work commencing to maximise
Capital Growth.
Option-to-Buy is a Contract that enables the Purchaser
to buy an “Option” on a property at the very early
stages of a new Development prior to it being officially released
into the market place. The Option is often purchased in stage
payments with an initial lower Deposit of only 30%, unlike a Standard
Sales Contract which is usually 50%.
The Option can either be :- a)
sold prior to Completion at the current full market price of the
property, yielding attractive profits, against the 30% initial
outlay, which is exempt from Capital Gains Tax
b) continue through to Completion at the low “Off-Plan”
price for long-term Capital Growth and additional ongoing Rental
Revenue
